Quanto

From photo to updated stock in about a minute.

No scanners, no tags, no spreadsheets to fill in. A phone, a photo and a quick check of the numbers.

1. Take a photo

Pick the location you are counting, then photograph one shelf section, cooler door or pallet face. Add more photos to the same count if the area is bigger. Photos in one count should not overlap, so nothing is counted twice.

2. Check the numbers

Quanto identifies each product and counts it row by row. Then a second, independent count runs on the same photo. When both counts agree, the line is marked verified. When they differ, you see both numbers and tap the right one or type your own.

3. Save

Stock for that location is updated. The count goes to history with the photos, the number before and after, the difference and the name of the person who counted. Products recorded at that location but missing from the photos can be marked out of stock in the same step.

The sample shelf

This is the count screen with a result from our sample shelf. You can try the same shelf inside the app during your trial.

In this real run both counts agreed on every product. When they disagree, the app shows both numbers and asks you to choose.

For the best count

  1. 1One shelf section per photo.
  2. 2Fill the frame, labels facing the camera.
  3. 3Good light, phone steady.
  4. 4Photos in the same count must not overlap.

What it tells you

  • Low confidence: the photo makes this number hard to read. Check it.
  • Rows don't add up: the row tallies and the total disagree. Check it.
  • More may be stored behind: units behind the front row are not included.
  • Not in these photos: items recorded at this location that the photos didn't show.

What it does not do

  • It does not read liquid levels in open bottles. Count partial bottles by hand in the same count.
  • It does not see through boxes. Closed cases are counted as cases, or as units if the pack size is printed on them.
  • It does not connect to point-of-sale or warehouse systems yet. Export to Excel or CSV instead.
