Restaurant and bar inventory by photo.

Count the walk-in, dry storage and back bar every week without clipboards. Location by location, with cases or units, and a record of who counted.

The problem

  • Inventory happens after close, when everyone is tired and in a hurry.
  • Cans, bottles and cases on deep shelves are easy to miscount.
  • Food and beverage cost reports depend on counts nobody fully trusts.

What changes

  • Each storage area is its own location with its own stock and history.
  • Cases are recorded as cases, or as units when the pack size is printed on the box.
  • Count history with photos shows what was there, the difference and who counted it.

Good to know

It counts bottles, not what's left inside them. Count open bottles by hand in the same count.
