Terms of Use
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Draft
These terms are an agreement between you (and the business you represent) and Quanto for the use of Quanto. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Quanto helps businesses count inventory from photos, keep stock by location and keep a history of counts. Photo counting uses an AI provider (see the Privacy Policy).
2. Counts can be wrong
AI counts are estimates. They can be wrong, especially with poor photos, hidden or overlapping items or similar packaging. The app shows two independent counts, flags uncertain results and lets you change any number before saving. You are responsible for checking counts before relying on them for orders, accounting, taxes or any decision. Quanto is not a system of record for regulated inventory, such as controlled substances, alcohol excise or firearms, and must not be used as one.
3. Accounts and teams
- You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- The person who creates the business account is its owner and can invite and remove team members.
- You must be at least 18 and able to act for the business.
4. Free trial
New businesses get a 14-day free trial with the limits shown on the pricing page. No card is required. When the trial ends, the account becomes view-only until a paid plan is chosen. Your data is not deleted because a trial ended.
5. Paid plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Each plan includes a monthly number of AI photo counts. Unused counts do not carry over.
- Sales tax is added where required.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries for a limited time. If it still fails, the account becomes view-only.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Settings. See the Refunds and Cancellation policy for details.
7. Your data
You own the data and photos you put into Quanto. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide and secure the service, including sending photos to our AI provider for counting. You can export your data and delete it at any time.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not upload photos of people, personal documents or anything you do not have the right to use.
- Do not try to access other businesses' data, break security, overload the service or reverse engineer it.
- Do not use the service for anything illegal.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change features; we will tell you before removing something you pay for.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of counts.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or inventory losses.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breaches.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
