Gift shop inventory without counting item by item
Photograph a display or shelf and the app counts each packaged product. Use a location for each display so you know what sells where.
The free count needs no account. The trial needs no credit card.
What you count in a gift shop
- Boxed and packaged gifts
- Souvenirs on shelves
- Candles, mugs and home goods
- Stock in the back room
How to use Quanto in a gift shop
- Turn products so the same face points to the camera.
- Use one location per display table or shelf unit.
- Rename new products once; the app matches them next time.
What it doesn't do
One-of-a-kind items with no label, or items piled in a basket, are hard to identify in a photo. Enter those by hand.
Questions
Can it count greeting cards?
Cards in a rack overlap, so only the front card of each slot is visible. Count those by hand.
Does it work for seasonal stock?
Yes. Add a location for the seasonal area and count it as often as you need.
A real count, not a mock-up
This is the count screen with a real result from our sample shelf: every product counted twice, both counts agreeing. Try it on a shelf of your own.
