Coffee shop inventory without the clipboard

What you count in a coffee shop
- Retail and brewing coffee bags
- Milk and plant-milk cartons in the fridge
- Syrup and sauce bottles
- Cups, lids and sleeves in storage
How to use Quanto in a coffee shop
- Keep the fridge and dry storage as separate locations.
- Set a minimum for each product to see what is running low.
- Photograph sleeves of cups from the side so each sleeve is visible.
What it doesn't do
Loose items such as a pile of lids are hard to count in a photo. Count sealed sleeves and packs, and enter loose items by hand.
Questions
Will it track ounces of milk or grams of beans?
No. It counts units you can see, such as cartons and bags. Recipes and usage per drink are not part of the app.
Can I count from my phone during a shift?
Yes. It runs in the phone's browser and can be installed on the home screen.
A real count, not a mock-up
This is the count screen with a real result from our sample shelf: every product counted twice, both counts agreeing. Try it on a shelf of your own.
